Mhendeb,
Agreed but It's too late to assign blame at this point. I agree that black parents should be more proactive with protecting their children from harm, but Pink over criticized the situation with Trayvon. His father provided a safe environment for the family and then some overzealous racist asshole murders him. Blaming the parents is unproductive at this point. We are up against a judicial system that is directly opposed to our rights and protects racists like Zimmerman.

@pink

I am surprised you touched on the parents accountability at this time. I just want to say in general our families could do with more wisdom, knowledge and understanding which may not be able to solve certain issues but can prevent them from happening in the fist place. Money does neither.

@Maconomics

"How can Trayvon's parents predict this outcome, how can you protect someone in a safe environment. Everything else Pink said was on-point, but the parent blaming thing was pointless to say."

-----

I think Pinkk was just upset that black people in America are not doing what they're suppose to as a race, and as a result, they're now being targeted by everybody. At least that's what I took from the video.

I think that Pink was reaching with his thoughts on the Trayvon tradgedy! His Father lived in a safe gated community, there was little chance that violence would occur but it did with that fucked up Zimmerman. How can Trayvon's parents predict this outcome, how can you protect someone in a safe environment. Everything else Pink said was on-point, but the parent blaming thing was pointless to say.

First! Now that I gotten that out of the way...not only Zimmerman should be put in jail, but the ones who kept him OUT of jail (i.e. the cops who SHOULD'VE arrested in the first place, his ex-judge dad, etc.).
